The Marinade

1/2 cup hoisin
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1 clove grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 zested orange or lime zest
1 tablespoon sesame oil
10 drops liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 squeezed lime (juice)
1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice

Pressure Cooker Asian Sticky Wings Directions

  1. Stir all ingredients in a bowl
  2. Put half the marinade in a bag with chicken wings
  3. Marinate for 4 hours or overnight
    Put in pressure cooker for 5 minutes (high pressure)
  4. Do a natural pressure release for 7 minutes - this means do nothing for 7 minutes and then release the pressure
  5. Line a broiler pan with foil - add a few drops of sesame oil and wipe with a paper towel (this infuses flavor without adding oil directly)
  6. Broil with remaining glaze until beautiful and brown

Recipe notes

** This is way more marinade than you need for the recipe, but making it in batches is easier and you can store it in the refrigerator for other recipes like Asian Flank Tacos!
