Delicious and quick...all you need is the marinade, some taco shells, a little sour cream and some hoisin, your sous vide or grill, garnish, and a pan. It all comes together in less than an hour!

Ingredients

For 4 Person(s)

Asian Tacos

1 pound steak or pork
1/2 cup Asian Marinade
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 sliced lime
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon hoisin

Sous Vide Asian Beef Tacos OR Grilling Method Directions

  1. Marinate flank steak in Asian marinade for 1- 24 hours
  2. Remove meat from marinade and put meat in a sous vide bag using the submersion method or a vacuum sealer OR pat dry for grilling (alternate method)
  3. Set sous vide to 128 for 40 minutes OR grill a few minutes on each side until desired temperature (I am a medium rare girl)
  4. Pre grill taco shells and keep warm
  5. Remove steak from sous vide once timer has gone off and pat dry thoroughly (omit this step is not using sous vide method)
  6. Place on warmed pan or grill and sear on both sides for 1-2 minutes until internal temperature is 134 degrees for a perfect medium rare

Recipe notes

For Asian Sour Cream:

Mix 1 tsp of hoison in 1/2 cup sour cream 

 

For Tacos:

Line bottom of taco shell with hoisin sour cream for "glue"

Add sliced Asian flank meat

Top with guacamole,chopped onion, cilantro, and grilled lime
